Charlotte Casiraghi Marries Her Beau!
On Saturday, June 1st, Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco wed film producer Dimitri Rassam. Their civil ceremony took place at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco.
Charlotte’s civil wedding outfit was designed by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent. It was a short, trendy grey lace brocade dress with three large bows. Dimitri wore a classic navy colored suit, hand in hand with Charlotte.
For the reception, they kicked it up a notch! Charlotte donned a long white silk gown with hair styled in a short, wavy bob. She completed her look with a touching tribute to her grandmother, Princess Grace – Charlotte wore her exquisite Cartier diamond necklace. The three-strand necklace of brilliant and baguette diamonds, set in platinum, was the perfect princess touch.
Dimitri was a handsome counterpart to the lovely Charlotte, dapper in a white suit with his usual long tresses slicked-back for a James Bond-style look.
Charlotte and Dimitri’s mothers have been longtime friends, so the pair were no strangers to one another when they began dating in 2016. They got engaged in two years later, and prior to their marriage, Charlotte gave birth to their son Balthazar. Charlotte also has a five-year-old son Raphael from her brief relationship with comedian Gad Elmaleh. Dimitri has a daughter, Darya, from his 2010 marriage to Masha Novoselova.
Charlotte is the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Hanover and the late Stefano Casiraghi. Dimitri is the son of actress Carole Bouquet and film producer Jean-Pierre Rassam.
NOTE: Charlotte is often referred to as a princess, but this is not the case. Her mother is a princess, but Charlotte is not.
