HRH Princess Marie of Denmark has paid a visit today to the Danish Emergency Management Agency. Her visit included a tour and demonstration of the agency’s equipment and procedures.
The princess has a keen interest in DEMA’s disaster preparedness, and decided to bring her boys along – Prince Joachim included – to tour the facilities. In October 2012, the princess was trained in first aid, fire fighting, rescue, and team work during an Emergency Services campaign at the Tønder Grundskole school. Photos of Marie showed a large bruise on her face, but thankfully it was only makeup as the princess took part in the practical training.
This time it was a family affair, and Marie’s little son Henrik joined his parents and brothers Nikolai and Felix as they watched demonstrations of equipment and vehicles. The royal group donned hard hats and goggles and even lent a hand during some techniques.
